Interesting people don’t waste vast amounts of time complaining about things.
They don’t complain about their lives, circumstances, or the world around them.
They realize that complaining is a waste of time and accomplishes very little.
It is also counter-productive, gets you in a habit of negativity, and makes you a drag to be around.
Interesting people know that the better thing to do is take responsibility for what you can control and take action to change their circumstances.
If things are completely outside of your control like with a sudden, unexpected natural disaster, for example, there is no need to even focus on why it happened.
The only focus should be on action and getting beyond it.
Complaining is a waste of time and energy.
The time used complaining should be used for planning, learning, and taking action.
Either make it right or move on.
Many people become addicted to complaining.
It stimulates them in a weird twisted way.
A large part of them enjoys it.
They’d actually be very upset if there was noting to complain about.
People like this accomplish very little in life and somehow always find things to complain about.
Rather than take control of circumstances they give up control and blame outside circumstances for where they are in life.
They always find excuses.
They are master excuse makers.
Even though there are people with much worse “circumstances” than them that achieve much much more than them, they find excuses why these people were able to succeed.
“They were born with more money.”
“Their government allows more opportunity.”
“They are naturally better looking.”
“They are older / younger / male / female/ this race / that race/ etc etc.”
The biggest complainers achieve very little in life.
It’s also a pain to be around these people. They are too negative and ruin even the most positive experiences.
The happiest and most successful people usually complain the least.
If they do complain they also take a massive amount of action to remedy the situation they are complaining about.
Learn to catch yourself when you are complaining.
When you catch yourself, stop yourself and decide to make a plan and take action instead.
You’ll be much happier over time and much more successful.
Until next time stay focused, avoid complaining, and stay interesting.
All the best,
D
